    My boyfriend has gotten me take out from this place a few times now and I love it!
    The chicken is always super fresh and juicy with a lot of flavor! Usually this has a kick to it for me.
    The rice has a perfect blend of spices and great veggies in it!
    The potatoes are heavenly. They're soft but also a bit hard (not raw type of hard) and go so well with the rice!
    I highly recommend getting yourself some lunch from here or take out... One portion of chicken and one portion of rice (in the take out boxes) usually lasts for 3-4 meals!

    This is a real local spot that is very no frills, but quite yum! Mainly a grab and go type place, there are a couple of table to eat your food quickly. Note: they only take debit or cash!

    Food wise, there is a hot food counter with some grilled fish and potato dishes. You can also choose to turn it into a combo with potatoes. So I got grilles cod with potatoes and the potatos with salted cod and cream (sort of like scallop potatoe). Total was $19 and I quickly realized that this was way too much food for 1 person because they filles the potatoes with salted cod to the top of the container!

    They also serve Bbq chicken, suckling pig and other yummy options. Would come here for a quick bite again if I were in the area again.

    The chicken dinners are amazing! The portion sizes are huge! I prefer the rice over potatoes. The hot sauce is yummy. Always my go to for Portuguese cuisine!

    I used to go here all the time. I stopped after I found hair in my food.  I just can't bring my self to go back.

    I had lunch today at Cantanhede O Bairradino.  You order at the counter ... just cash and debit accepted.  There are three tables if you want to stay (which I did).

    I ordered a half chicken dinner with potatoes and rice.  The cost was $11 with a pop (including tax) so not a bad deal.  The cashier/cook had asked me if I wanted sweet or hot sauce.  I said sweet but I didn't notice any sauce on anything.  The potatoes were good, the chicken was good (it was cut in weird pieces) and the rice was just so-so.

    Though it was good, I've had a better Portuguese chicken dinner elsewhere.
